Finally finished my Turning 20!

I got this one back from the quilting fairy quite awhile ago, but I finally got motivated to put the binding on this week.  It's for the RV, but I can use it at home this winter, I think . . .

It looks pretty good against the rust wall, don't you think?

That's my little granny square quilt on the cedar chest -- it's one of my favorites that I've made lately!

And, since Katy has probably received her package by now, I can show the quilt I made for my new little grand-nephew, Jaxon!

This is the cute little outfit that I found for him -- it matches the stuffed turtle that I found to go with the quilt!

So I've been busy quilting, and now I'm motivated to sew some more!  Maybe I need new fabric!  NOT!

2011 Fair Prizes

Wow - its official!  This year has been my best year yet in the number of ribbons won at the Fair.  I won 11 ribbons (5 - 1st place, 4 - 2nd place and 2 - 3rd place) out of 12 possibles.  The two pics shown previously both won 1st place ribbons. The "Dog" quilt only received a 3rd place, but that's okay!  I think I did a really great job on it and thoroughly enjoyed making it.

If you enjoy Fairs, the Fulton County Fair in Wauseon OH is one of the best in the area.

Getting read for the Fulton County Fair, Ohio

Tina, here! These are just two of the 12 items I've entered in this year's Fulton County Fair in Wauseon OH.  This is my 4th year entering items (especially quilts, I'm allowed three).  I've also entered the Dog quilt which I 've shown everyone previously.  In the past I've usually come home with at least 8 ribbons of some kind and hope this year is no different.  I enjoy showing off my work and get many kind comments on them.
Wish me luck!

Tina's grandson, Aiden has a quilt just for him!

For Aiden Joseph, born July 31, 2011!
This was a challenge for me as this quilt is made from 2-1/2" squares.
Quilt pattern was found in the magazine "Quiltmaker"
